The Construct-X WorkFace Planner (WFP) Coordinator will be embedded with our clients and will work directly with their designated representatives and the construction execution WorkFace Planners at our client sites, whether the planners are those from Construct-X, our client’s, or their contractor supply chain. This person will oversee the development and execution of Installation Work Packages (IWP)s from the release of Construction Work Packages (CWPs) including participating in CWP readiness sessions to ensure timely receipt of the CWPs to satisfy schedule. The WFP Coordinator is responsible for the monitoring and management of the IWPs prior to and after issuance to the field and must report and track the IWPs to ensure timely execution and close-out of the IWPs. This individual will also be responsible for assisting with the removal of constraints, maintaining coordination between trades and helping to organize support trades for the execution of the IWPs. The WPF Coordinator facilitates the smooth operation of the WorkFace Planning process by removing barriers for the Planning team.


The Construct-X WFP Coordinator will be embedded in a USA Gulf-Coast area client office. Work may also include a home office (telecommuting), with some additional travel possible. Work may also include construction site visits, team meetings, and conferences.



The WFP Coordinator job responsibilities:


Engage in Construct-X training prior to mobilization.

Work with construction execution WorkFace Planners at our client sites

Monitor the creation of Installation Work Packages (IWP)s from the scope of the Construction Work Packages (CWPs)

Ensure timely receipt of the CWPs to satisfy schedule

Monitor and manage the IWPs prior to and after issuance to the field

Report on and track the IWPs through close-out to ensure timely execution

Assist with the removal of constraints

Maintain coordination between trades and help to organize support trades for the execution of the IWPs

Facilitate the smooth operation of the WorkFace Planning process by removing barriers for the Planning team

Work with clients to gather and analyze project details for construction projects

Support the creation of, digital materials for clients including AWP playbooks, guidelines, Work Packages

Understand and use Construct-X–supplied materials with clients

Coordinate with clients and internal Construct-X teams to ensure planning process is well executed and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner

Support development of project weekly and short-range lookahead planning materials to incorporate WFP requirements

Participate in team strategy and tactical meetings while working independently to meet client deadlines

Training of client construction personnel in AWP techniques

Other responsibilities pertaining to this role, as arise or as assigned





Minimum of 7 years’ experience in WFP/AWP or transferable skills.

Experience preferred in one or more construction technologies such as ConstructSim, Smart Plant Construction (SPC), Navisworks, BIM360, Synchro, project controls tools, Primavera, etc.

Intermediate to advanced-level skills with Microsoft Office

Detail-oriented construction planning skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated expertise in client relations and handling challenging situations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while effectively meeting client deliverable deadlines

Able to engage with multiple projects to deliver key requirements on schedule

Ability to smoothly interface with people of varying skill sets and cultural backgrounds

Commitment to safety

Certificate in Construction Management, Engineering degree, or construction trade experience preferred.

Industrial construction experience is an asset
